UNTITLED 4

When i look at you
I can see forever
A completely new world of endless possibilities

A life with you
Is easy to imagine
A lifetime with you
Is easy to accomplish

You make everything
Seem like nothing
Yet you can make nothing
Seem like everything

I hear you speak,
And my heart beats
With every word you utter
Your sweet voice
Is like a warm summer caress

You’re always there when i need you
Always standing by
To catch me if i fall

On the day you proposed to me
My whole life came to focus
And nothing made sense
Except...
Saying yes

I can love you now
I can love you tomorrow
But all i want to do
Is to love you
For always

Goodbye

A kiss on the cheek
Is all i can remember

All the memories i have of you
Become un-recollectable
Except for that night

A lot was said
But i didn’t hear anything
Except my pounding heart

You touched me often
But i felt nothing
Apart from my growing panic

How could i think?
How could i breath?
How could i?
When you were about to leave my life?

Just when i regained a part of me
You kissed my cheek...
And with a trembling smile
You were gone...

My Sunrise

A brief smile
Plays on your lips
A sweet dream perhaps
Or a pleasant memory

You stir softly
And I’m mesmerised
Your beautiful face
Is truly a wonder

Your eyelashes suddenly flutter
As if broken by some spell
And you look directly at me
Like you felt my gaze

I stare at your beautiful brown eyes
And i realise again
For the millionth time
How much i love you

Your smile lights the room
And the reason becomes clear...
The reason why
I love watching your waking moments

It’s simple my love
It’s because you are my sunrise

UNTITLED 3

The tingling anticipation
The thoughts of its arrival
It’s like knowing
Christmas is only a day away

It’s like waiting
For a gift promised
Every second
Resonates like forever

Every morning
 Looks like the morning expected
But as the sun sets
Tomorrow looks like the expected tomorrow.

UNTITLED 2

On a shaded plain
Between two majestic hills
Lives
Broken dreams
Unspoken dreams
Unrealized dreams

The two willow trees
Gently drop their leaves
On the ground
Making a carpet
Unspoiled for years

The soil promises a story to tell
Because it holds the secrets
For underneath it
Lies the forgotten souls
Of the victims
In an unmarked grave
Known only by
The one who decided their fate.
